How do I know if my pocket pet needs medical care?

All pets, no matter their size, can benefit tremendously from a full veterinary exam. Due to their size, it may be more difficult to notice visible symptoms of discomfort, pain or even illness. This is why regular check-ups are so important especially for pocket pets. That being said, below are some of the symptoms that can indicate an underlying condition in your smaller pets.

  • Hair loss
  • Bald patches
  • Heavy breathing
  • Runny eyes or nose
  • Diarrhea
  • Skin wounds
  • Lack of appetite
